About This Course

At the height of the coronavirus pandemic, government-mandated shutdowns placed live, cultural activity companies in jeopardy. Dance crews and entertainment studios known for being creative in their mediums turned to financial teams for their creative, sustainable solutions. In this 1 CPE credit session, Brian Parisi, Chief Financial Officer at Break the Floor, the nation’s prominent live entertainment company shares how live entertainment companies landed during the pandemic, and where they go from here.

Chief Financial Officer | Break the Floor Productions

Brian Parisi is an experienced executive with over 25 years of experience in the high tech and entertainment industries. In addition to his breadth of experience across Finance, Accounting, M&A and Strategy for top global companies, he possesses a strong focus in academics that includes a CPA and MBA. Mr. Parisi is currently the CFO at Break the Floor Productions in North Hollywood, CA and was recently the CFO at the NFL Hall of Fame Village, and Head of Finance for Live Nation’s Festivals Division. In his most recent roles, he was instrumental in raising capital through a strong focus on operational efficiency, financial discipline, and business sensibility. At Live Nation, Mr. Parisi was responsible for the integrations of several music festival brands into the Live Nation corporate infrastructure; generating 20 annual festivals and over 1.3 million fans worldwide. Mr. Parisi has also held leadership positions at Warner Bros. Entertainment and Universal Studios. Mr. Parisi received his MBA from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business and his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management. He is also very active in business, charitable and philanthropic endeavors as a USC MBA Professional Mentor, American Cancer Society volunteer, annual supporter of Kidsave, NPR and Ronald Macdonald charities, and previously a VP & Board Member at Financial Executives International (FEI).
