About This Course

At job termination and/or retirement a number of KEY DECISIONS have to be made to ensure your and your family’s financial well-being. Questions such as, how to maximize my severance, which pension options do I choose are all decisions that have to be made. This course discusses these points in detail.

The first part of the course will discuss strategies to maximize a severance payout as planning might provide you with up to an additional 50% of the severance you are entitled to.

Then we will switch to the discussion around your pension options from a retirement income, tax, and estate angle. Since we will be discussing transferring your pension into your own locked-in plan, as one of the possibilities, we will spend some time also discussing retirement income investment options as understanding the types of products and guarantees available out there in the marketplace is a critical factor when discussing pension options.

With her extensive experience in these areas, Anna breaks down these quite complex topics into digestible discussion points and adds a number of examples to bring life to the discussion.
