About This Course

Raising and resolving ethical dilemmas can be tough. Fear can get in the way. Despite whistleblower legislation, retaliation persists, and those with the courage to speak up often put themselves at risk.

  • How can professional accountants raise ethical issues confidently?
  • How can they hold constructive conversations in the face of fear, conflict, and resistance to arrive at a successful outcome?
  • How might professional accountants in leadership roles enable these challenging conversations to create psychological safety and foster an ethical culture?

This course explores the art of having constructive conversations in the context of the ethical dilemmas professional accountants may encounter in their daily work or volunteer activities. This course is designed to build confidence, equipping professional accountants with the tools, skills, and courage to speak up using effective and constructive conversation skills.
