This course covers general information such as New Brunswick legislation, prevention measures, and how to recognize & respond to violence & harassment in the workplace.

The New Brunswick Regulation under the OHSA includes Violence and Harassment Codes of Practice which describe what employers must do in order to prevent violence and harassment in the workplace. There is also a Code of Practice for Working Alone which sets out rules that employers and workers must comply with to ensure the health and safety of an employee who works alone. This course deals with general information such as the law, how to recognize warning signs, and how to respond to violence and harassment in the workplace.
