Section 1: Plan for Project Success Getting organized and planning for success are essential business skills. Everyone managing teams and projects should be able to plan and organize effectively, have strong project management skills, undertake a SWOT analysis, and write a business plan. A business plan sets out the core strategies for growing your business and enables you to look at your product or service objectively, and better understand your business strengths and weaknesses, how your business fits into the market, and the challenges you might face. In this first section you will see four short videos: • Project Management SWOT • Managing Projects Successfully • Planning and Organizing • Write a Business Plan

Section 2: Develop Project Leadership Skills

When you lead a project team there are many communication and leadership skills you need to develop.

In this section you will see four videos: • How to Manage a Task Force • Avoid a Project Manager’s Nightmare • Leadership Survival Kit • Improving Team Leadership

Section 3: Get the Best from your Team Successful teamwork involves genuine collaboration and open communication. This produces more ideas, more creativity, and greater innovation. Being engaged as a team increases focus and efficiency and creates a positive environment of trust and familiarity. Discover ways to ensure your team works effectively and collaboratively. In this section you will see three short videos: • Transforming SILOS • Trying Myers-Briggs • UNITE Your Team

Section 4: Be BRAVE and Implement a Call to Action

We need to be confident and have our worlds heard, especially when we lead others. We can learn to confront our fears and deal with a variety of challenges. We can also learn to use a call to action to motivate and mobilize others.
