About This Course

This leadership training program is based on Martin Seligman’s research and teaches you how optimists view the world and the best emotional intelligence (EI) tools to be resilient. Sometimes, we need to change the lens of viewing our present moment and future and ask a few questions about our own level of optimism and how we manage difficult situations and daily setbacks.

Takeaways:

  • Understanding the importance of optimism and resilience as a predictor of bottom-line performance success
  • Recognizing what causes mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual depletion and what you can do to recover better
  • Understanding how optimists view setbacks and challenges
  • Learn how to fail and recover fast – believe that problems are short-lived and won’t affect everything you do
  • Manage your emotions and setbacks with the emotional intelligence SBA® tool – Stop, Breathe, Ask
