Kevin T. McBride is a vice president of finance and serves as principal accounting officer and corporate controller at Intel Corporation. He is responsible for global accounting, financial services and financial reporting. Mr. McBride also leads and manages the international controllers responsible for financial services, statutory compliance and business support. Initially hired at Intel in 2000 as an accounting policy manager, Mr. McBride subsequently served a two-year fellowship at the Financial Accounting Standards Board, where he was responsible for researching, resolving and consulting on implementation and emerging practice problems. He has also led Intel’s accounting policy, external reporting, treasury accounting and global accounting organizations. Mr. McBride began his career in 1993 at KPMG, last serving as an audit manager. He later held assistant controller and sales operations controller positions at Cascade Microtech and Corillian. Mr. McBride holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Oregon State University and has been a certified public accountant in the state of Oregon since 1996. He serves as an officer of the Board of Financial Executives International (FEI), and is a member of FEI’s Committee on Corporate Reporting. He also served on the Center for Audit Quality’s SEC Regulations Committee and is a past member of FEI’s Committee on Finance and Information Technology.
