Martin Copeland was the Managing Director of Content Management Corporation with offices throughout North America. Copeland was honored with the most coveted award for CSAE (Canadian Society of Association Executives) National business members, the John Griner Award in 1992. As well, he was business member of the year for the Toronto Chapter of CSAE, served on the Board of Directors for Tourism Toronto, is a past Chair of the Foundation for Association Research and Education as well as a past President of the International Society of Communication Specialists. Content Management was acquired by Multiview, a Warburg Pincus company, in 2011. Copeland remained for 2 years on a management contract as a SVP of Multiview. Multiview has 688 employees and generates more than 100 million dollars in sales a year. Over the past 38 years, Content Management Corporation (CMC) has embraced technology and today deals with hundreds of Associations throughout North America. CMC delivers education through “Virtual Learning Centers” which provides organizations with a platform to deliver e-Learning, live Event capture and dissemination, webcasts, and Webinars. Their added ability to provide the tools for on-line testing, evaluations and CE tracking makes the Virtual Learning Centre a very effective platform that results in increasing membership and attendees and providing added member services, non-dues revenue and expense reduction for Associations. Multiview generates its revenue by selling electronic advertising around educational content, on-line Buyers Guides and News briefs for Associations. Currently, Martin gives back as a mentor to a variety of early-stage companies and volunteers with several Charities, namely TRAILBLAZERS (tandem cycling for the visually impaired where he is one of just a few instructors that provides the orientation and training for both the sighted and visually impaired Riders), The Ski School/Ski Hawks where he is a Guide and Instructor, taking the visually impaired downhill skiing in the Winter. He does at least 5 Charity Rides a year which includes The Ride to Conquer Cancer, Cycle for Sight, Blazathon, Kayla’s Children Centre and the Bike for Brain Health. Martin has 3 wonderful children, Daniel 38, Alex 33 and Cayla 32, and 2 adorable grandsons, Jake 3 and Cole who is one. He resides in Innisfil, Ontario and frequents Toronto because of his extensive involvement with a variety of organizations.
