About This Course

Build confidence and have fun learning and speaking English as it is really spoken with these dramatized videos in this interactive course. Learn basic English skills to improve the way you speak at work. In each of the four Sections there is a practice section, Listen and Repeat, that includes clips from the videos, followed by real time gaps to repeat what you hear.

Section 1- Where is it? covers how we describe where things are. It introduces prepositions in, on, under, next to, as well as simple words, expressions and tips, learning activities and a quiz.

Section 2 - When? covers exact clock time and expressions of time. It introduces time expressions and asking about time, simple words, expressions and tips, learning activities and a quiz.

Section 3 - How much? How many? covers language for quantity – how much and how many. It introduces count and non-count nouns, simple words, expressions and tips, learning activities and a quiz.

Section 4 - Meal time covers language used in preparing and eating meals. It introduces the present continuous tense (Verb +ING), simple words, expressions and tips, learning activities and a quiz.
