Optimize commercial site pavements from design to durable maintenance; master essential techniques for installation and long-term performance.

This course, "Commercial Site Pavement Design, Installation & Maintenance," offers a comprehensive exploration of pavement engineering principles tailored for commercial applications. From foundational design concepts to cutting-edge installation and maintenance techniques, participants will gain invaluable knowledge to ensure durable and cost-effective pavement solutions.
The course begins with an introduction to pavement types, including flexible (asphalt) and rigid (concrete) pavements, detailing traditional design methods like AASHTO and more advanced mechanistic-empirical approaches. We'll delve into the critical aspects of pavement material selection, properties, and testing, covering aggregates, binders, and subgrade soils, alongside construction methodologies, quality control, and innovative techniques such as intelligent compaction. Key learning outcomes include:
Whether you're refreshing your knowledge or seeking to deepen your expertise, this course provides the essential tools and insights for successfully managing commercial site pavement projects from conception to long-term maintenance.
