About This Course

This course focuses on the practical application of what we do, as accountants. It is divided into two sections: the first examines how you should prepare for acquiring, selling, or merging with businesses. What should you think about in the years before you plan to engage in these deals? In the second section, we address what to do when you’re ready to move ahead with a deal, with questions such as: how do you structure a deal? How do you close a deal?

This course contains a total of 4 CPE QAS Self-Study credits, broken down into two fields of study. Field of Study: 2 Accounting CPE Credits + 2 Specialized Knowledge CPE Credits

In order to successfully complete this course, you must receive a grade of at least 70% on the Final Exam (20 multiple-choice questions). There is no limit to the number of attempts on the Final Exam.

In addition he is featured on many of the Lambers CPE Course offerings. His primary focus is financial accounting issues, fraud, and internal controls. He believes that continuing education should be practical and informative as well as enjoyable. His teaching style is interactive and he enjoys using hands-on examples to reinforce his points. His sense of humor and his interactive teaching style make his seminars fun and helpful for improving the skill level of each participant in a practical manner.
