What we know about burnout is that it has a very real set of physical symptoms, cognitive challenges, and emotional reactions that can be debilitating. And, it’s on the rise in recent years, with up to three-fourths of workers experiencing it. In this Beating Burnout course, you'll learn about the very real symptoms of burnout as well as some practical things you can do to start finding space and joy in your days and in supporting your team to do the same.
In this workshop, you'll:
• Come to understand that burnout is a high risk for the passionate and committed • Learn the common symptoms and signs of burnout • Discuss the importance of connection in your self-care and the care of your team • Explore various suggestions for using the connection in self-care for yourself and with your team • Walk through an exercise to help you think about what matters most to you in your life and to define your vision of success • Commit to your self-care and how you might encourage your team to do the same
The goal is to help you remember that you and your health need to be a priority, and to look for possibilities to get a bit more space for YOU in your moments. Nurturing your employee (or other) relationships is key to your health and the health of your team (or family, colleagues, friends).
