By taking this course, you will be able to use Audacity for audio editing, recording, reducing noise, improving your voiceovers, and much more. The course is divided into small chunks of information. Each section/unit is specifically dedicated to a particular portion of Audacity.
In this course, you will learn about:
Downloading Audacity onto your computer, importing, exporting and saving files, and the difference between mono and stereo files
Basic editing functions: cut, copy, paste, trim and silence, duplicate, remove special, clip boundaries, labels
Advanced editing functions: at zero crossing, mixing audio & adding background, multi-track editing
Effects and processing: noise reduction, reverb and echo, amplify, compressor, limiter, fade in and fade out, changing pitch, speed and tempo, equalization, normalize, high and low pass filter
Audio recording and improving voiceovers
By the end of the course, you will also discover a very special audio editing technique (the 5-STEP formula for improving voiceovers), which will exponentially improve your voiceovers and recordings.
